A couple of years ago I made some acrylic pouring artworks and I still have some of these paintings left. Back in the studio full of good energy after a great exhibition week!! 🙌🏻😀 It’s been fantastic to meet so many new people and I am also very grateful for family and friends who came to see my art! 🙏🏻 🥰 I’m currently working on an old painting that I didn’t finish - an African elephant made in acrylics. I will do a layer of oil on top of the acrylics and try to smoothe some of the harsh lines of the trunk 😊🐘 Elephants are one of the most fascinating wild animals I think, having almost human-like social bonds. I hope to one day see them in their natural habitat! Which animal do you wish to encounter in the wild? It’s almost finished!!! 🙌🏻😀🌸 This is the biggest painting I’ve made this far and it’s going to be a challenge to transport it to the upcoming exhibit because of it’s size 😅🙈 This painting has been made just for fun and without much planning and afterthought and that’s why it’s messy and too crowded - and that’s probably why I like it so much 😂🙈 What are your thoughts on it? Just finished this mixed media painting with a little ditterent style from what I usually do! I took an old acrylic pour-artwork (the blue hair) and then I made a portrait on top of it in oils! I love to experiment and this one I really like!! 🩵💙 It will be for sale at the exhibit that starts June 1st in Alvik! Time for some Watercolors!! 😻 I truly admire watercolor artists and the famous watercolorpaintings by Zorn are some of my favourite artworks!! Painting patent leather pants in a frenzy right now 😅😇❤️‍🔥 Not sure this painting will be finished to my exhibit in 2,5 week but I’m trying really hard. It’s been through a transition as the womans head didn’t look right on the first try.
